Kelty Mental Health Resource Centre

The BC Children’s Kelty Mental Health Resource Centre provides mental health and substance use information and resources, assistance navigating the mental health system, as well as free personalised support from parent peer support workers. Services are available to families across BC and Yukon with children and youth up to age 24, by phone, email, virtual meeting, and in person at The Kelty Centre. Many online resources, educational events and webinars are also available for parents and caregivers, and school professionals. Kelty Mental Health offers: • Peer support from FamilySmart Parent Peer Support workers. • Information and resources on a wide range of mental health and substance use challenges affecting children and youth, as well as how to support your child’s mental-wellbeing. • Help navigating the mental health and substance use system. Moving Forward

Moving Forward is an innovative registered non-profit and charity that offers free short-term and affordable long-term counselling options to all populations across Canada via in-person, telephone, and online platforms. All Group Programs are online and free unless otherwise indicated. One-to-One Coaching (Life Skills, Healthy Relationships, Mindfulness, Seniors Support, Parent Support) programs are free. Counselling services are intended for low income clients unable to access public services/face long waits and who cannot afford traditional private therapy rates. No one will ever be refused services based on their financial circumstances, geographic location, identified gender, presenting issue. Minimal waits for all services. more info
