Heart Wise - Levels 1, 2, & 3
Heart Wise can help you transition from your formal cardiac rehabilitation program to fitness programs available in your community. It is designed for people who have suffered a heart attack, undergone heart surgery or are at risk for other heart complications. Sessions are led by a personal trainer who will encourage regular daily exercise, incorporate warm up, cool down and self-monitoring. Instruction is done with varying, progressive levels of exercise so participants can safely and appropriately increase intensity. more info

Kelty Mental Health Resource Centre
The BC Children’s Kelty Mental Health Resource Centre provides mental health and substance use information and resources, assistance navigating the mental health system, as well as free personalised support from parent peer support workers. Services are available to families across BC and Yukon with children and youth up to age 24, by phone, email, virtual meeting, and in person at The Kelty Centre. Many online resources, educational events and webinars are also available for parents and caregivers, and school professionals. Kelty Mental Health offers: • Peer support from FamilySmart Parent Peer Support workers. • Information and resources on a wide range of mental health and substance use challenges affecting children and youth, as well as how to support your child’s mental-wellbeing. • Help navigating the mental health and substance use system. All new patients must register on Health Connect, the provincial government waitlist for family doctors in BC. Please see the link above.
If you are already registered on Fetch you will be contacted when a family physician becomes available; you will not lose your place on the waitlist.
