Delta Mental Health & Substance Use Services
This program ensures that adults with serious acute mental disorders have access to responsive, sensitive, and relevant assessment and treatment, and are linked with service providers. The goal is to provide treatments which restore the capability of adults with serious acute mental disorders to resume activities in caring for their families, coping with their jobs and participating in their communities. We accept referrals from any source, will call the person for an intake assessment and from that point direct to the appropriate resource which may be found at the Mental Health Centre or out in the community or Greater Vancouver area. Can provide Psychiatric Consults if appropriate. We also assist with urgent response in the community, call the Intake Clinician for consult if you have an urgent client. The Mental Health Centre is not however an emergency resource or facility. more info

Kelty Mental Health Resource Centre
The BC Children’s Kelty Mental Health Resource Centre provides mental health and substance use information and resources, assistance navigating the mental health system, as well as free personalised support from parent peer support workers. Services are available to families across BC and Yukon with children and youth up to age 24, by phone, email, virtual meeting, and in person at The Kelty Centre. Many online resources, educational events and webinars are also available for parents and caregivers, and school professionals. Kelty Mental Health offers: • Peer support from FamilySmart Parent Peer Support workers. • Information and resources on a wide range of mental health and substance use challenges affecting children and youth, as well as how to support your child’s mental-wellbeing. • Help navigating the mental health and substance use system. Shared Wellness is counselling practice focusing on caring for clients who struggle with mental health and for individuals seeking prenatal or postpartum support. We are a group of specialized and dedicated counsellors working with individuals, families, and couples. We offer virtual mental health services in a professional, warm, caring, and ethically principled atmosphere. All new patients must register on Health Connect, the provincial government waitlist for family doctors in BC. Please see the link above.
If you are already registered on Fetch you will be contacted when a family physician becomes available; you will not lose your place on the waitlist.
